Dear Pinions family,

There are so many exciting things happening in our country right now!  Federal waste seems to be getting some accountability, some tax relief looks to be on the horizon, and Idaho is making some huge steps in educational freedom!

House Bill 93 is in action!  This bill would give a $5,000 pre-enrollment tax credit to some of our students! This is very exciting! Please contact the governor's office here and tell them "thank you!" https://gov.idaho.gov/contact-us

Even more exciting is House Bill 164.  This Bill would give each Idahoan with students access to an Education Savings Account to use for education as they see fit.

Second, let's talk a bit more having a Kingdom Year. Up until a few months ago, we all felt the pressure of the enemy in our country and around the world. This year feels like a chance for a new start!  The first question is "How do we make the most of this hope?"

I want to emphasize this beyond anything else: to make the most of this hope, you have to understand who you are in Christ.

We're a mess.  We're sinners. We're selfish and thoughtless and failures.

But, in Christ, we are more than enough.

I know that is hard to believe because we know how broken we are inside, but the truth is: you are amazing!

You are His treasured child. "But to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12)

As crazy as it sounds, you are anointed, sealed and OWNED by the King! No one else has ownership over you, not even that repetitive sin that keeps bugging you! "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." (1 Cor 1:21-22)

Lastly, I know that this is hard to believe, but you are seated — RIGHT NOW — with Christ in power. "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus..." (Eph 2:6)

So please, please, please hear me:  I know some days are impossible, I know that we're tired, I know that we fail and we feel distant from the Lord, but please hear me:  you are enough.

Despite the mistakes, despite the fear, despite the worries and the heartbreak, in Christ, you are more than enough.

Please take a second, exhale, and remember these truths above.

You see, this is the foundation of a Kingdom year: that we realize who we are in Christ.

Only then will we begin to walk in freedom, only then can we truly step into the future God has for us and our families. As impossible as it seems, we have to agree with God that we are who He says we are.

I don't know what lies you're listening to right now, but I do know what the truth is: with Christ, we are more than enough.

In Christ we can lead our families to a Kingdom Year.

And, you are enough.
